SpeakWrite Free Test

In order to allow potential clients to test and evaluate the viability, usefulness and value of our service, SpeakWrite offers a one-time free test of the service to anyone wishing to try it.

• Call the SpeakWrite toll-free dictation line at (800) 968-3428. You will be asked for the email address you want to use for the delivery of your completed test document and the word processing format you want used (MS Word or WordPerfect).
• Then, there will be a dictation ‘tone' indicating that you may start dictating and you can dictate whatever you wish for up to 10 minutes.
• When you are done, just hang up your phone and your completed document will be delivered to your email in about 3 hours or less.
• The service is available to all clients and for free test users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so try your test anytime you want.

This test is intended to provide you with a basic understanding of the way our system works but please remember that we offer a number of other features that allow you to customize the service to your specific needs and integrate it into your daily business practices.  We are pleased to offer this basic introduction to our system, but for more information on how we can integrate into your daily practices, please contact an Account Manager at (800) 828-3889.

When conducting your free trial, please remember:

• When stating your email in the free test, please be sure to state it carefully and slowly and spell it. This is our only means of contact with you at that point, so if there is a miscommunication on that information, we will have no way to cure it.
• SpeakWrite does not use voice recognition technology (we use all live typists) so when dictating you can speak as you normally do. However, please try to speak clearly for the transcriptionist to understand. The quality of what we are able to deliver to you is dependent on the quality of what we receive.
• If you are not used to dictating, don't be concerned. You are just speaking into a recorder at this stage so there is no reason to hurry or worry about how your dictation sounds. Just state what you would like to have transcribed as you would if you were leaving a message on a voicemail.
